Brooklyn – A History

With more than 50 lakes within a 10-mile radius of the village of Brooklyn, it’s easy to see why this area is known as the “Heart of the Lakes.” Located in the scenic Irish Hills, Brooklyn was originally known for being a highly anticipated stagecoach stop along the Detroit to Chicago route.
